FREE to the entire community! – Join us for musical fun throughout the day! Community Music Day is Crowden’s largest outreach event, attracting around 1,700 individuals each year.
Harp Room – Enjoy learning basics on how to play the harp on a variety of different folk-style harps with local harp teachers from the Multicultural Music Fellowship. 10 – 3 in the harp area.
Instrument Petting Zoo. Kids and adults alike explore, touch, and learn to make sounds on all the different instruments in a symphony orchestra! We even have special miniature string instruments for tiny hands and fingers. Ongoing Concerts of Live Music by a wide variety of talented youth and their ensembles throughout the day in the main hall.
Tumbling mats for wriggling toddlers, short selections, and hands-on musical activities make this the perfect way to introduce the youngest children to the joys of live classical music. Class demonstrations. Family members of all ages can sing, dance, move, and drum together in our short class demonstrations. Instrument making. Construct your own instruments to make music at home with!“Chill” room. Relax from the crowds in the “chill” room, where we’ll show music-related movies.Musical performances by kids, for kids (including Crowden School students), Face painting, Music Sale, admissions information, BBQ & baked good sales.

Listen to harp music being played by professional harpists. Try your hand at playing aharp! Lots of charming and unique harp holiday gifts for the Holiday shopper.

Featuring Holiday Harpists and Singers, with guest musicians and dancers. Join us for this fun day of unique Holiday Crafts, followed by a delicious dinner option, topped off with a concert of Harps, Song, Poems and Rituals of the Winter ~ Holiday Season.
